SPEC provided project development, engineering, permitting, drafting, and procurement support for the conversion of an existing storage tank and load rack system to allow for ethanol blending.  SPEC’s role included assisting in the definition of the overall project scope, permitting, conversion of an existing tank into an ethanol tank, design of the ethanol offload and rack supply pumps, installation of the tank fire protection system, and installation of a new ethanol offloading and load rack blending system. SPEC’s design allowed for ethanol blending capabilities at the distribution terminal.
